Local body employees of Maharashtra will get 7th CPC Pay

Keeping state elections on mind, Maharashtra Govt cleared the proposal on 23rd July, 2019 to implement 7th Pay Commission recommendations to the employees of Local bodies and Municipal Corporation with effect 1.9.2019.

The payment of arrears for the period from 1.1.2016 to 31.8.2019 will be issued in 5 installments and the first payment will be given in September.

Earlier, the State Government has decided to increase pension who is at the age of 80 years and above. The revision of pension to all senior pensioners with effect from 1.1.2019.

1	Age 80 to 85 yrs	Increase in basic pension 10%
2	Age of above 85 to 90 yrs	Increase in basic pension 15%
3	Age above 90 to 95 yrs.	Increase In basic pension 20%
4	Age above 95 to 100 yrs.	Increase in basic pension 25%
5	Age above 100 yrs	Increase in Basic pension 50
