7.9% General Provident Fund Interest for the last Quarter (October 2019 – December 2019)
As per the Economic Affairs resolution issued on 21.10.2019, the General Provident Fund interest rate for the period from 1st October 2019 to 31st December 2019 will be 7.9%.
General Provident Fund (GPF) is a more beneficial saving scheme for Central Government employees. Whenever need money for children’s education or hospital expenses, the accumulated fund will help in critical economic situations. Avail partial or full withdrawal amount indicated depends on the GPF annual statement slip.
The rate of interest for Public Provident Fund (PPF) from 1.10.2019 to 31.12.2019 is 7.90 percent.
